The main objective of Rotary is service – in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop service projects that address many of today’s critical issues. They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students and teachers to promote world peace and understanding.
The Rotary Club of Concordville Chadds Ford club has many projects that directly benefit the children of our community – from donating our time for hands-on service, such as delivery of coats to local shelters and schools- to partnering with organizations like CityTeam and the Salvation Army who help the needy- to building an all abilities playground. With our own new Initiative – Big Hearts for Brighter Futures …Rotarians Protecting our Children – our club strives to help the children of our community in a myriad of ways, from adopting families to provide for their most basic of needs, to our literacy programs and scholarships in the local school districts. Our club also supports a school in Haiti, as well as supporting other international medical and disaster response programs that benefit the children of our extended world community
