NOTE::  In Rotary, we follow Five Avenues of Service:

Community Service – These are our local service projects.  Our club has one major Initiative that serves as the focus for most of our local projects. It is called “Big Hearts For Brighter Futures – Concordville-Chadds Ford Rotarians Protecting our Children”. This initiative is composed of several projects, all with a similar theme – benefiting our children.  The primary project is the adoption of local families who are struggling to make ends meet. For more information about our community service projects, click here.

International Service – Our club participates both financially and personally in many International projects.  Personally, we are working with a young man from Chadds Ford who now resides in Madagascar to scholarship children at a school of the blind as well as update their learning equipment.  Additionally, we support an orphanage in Haiti. We support Rotary International’s Polio Plus campaign, purchase Rotary Shelterboxes for deployment when an emergency strikes, and support our districts Rotaplast missions that travel globally to perform cleft palate surgery.  This year one of our members is going on a mission to Guatemala.
